 FLaMes is a network created exclusively for British Hindu Gujarati professionals (in their twenties or thirties) who work within the fields of finance, law or medicine.

Everybody strives to live the high life but, whilst we all enjoy the buzz of working in fast-paced and dynamic environments, the satisfaction of working in our chosen profession is inevitably accompanied by long working hours and the looming risk of having to cancel evening and weekend plans in the not unlikely event that these timeslots will be required for work purposes. 

A successful professional life need not come at the cost of a social life - through organising fun and interesting social events and encouraging lively and relevant discussions, FLaMes aims to unite young Hindu Gujarati professionals working in three of the most intellectually stimulating (and, arguably, the most time-consuming) professions and encourage the creation of social and professional relationships amongst its members. 

Our membership already comprises GPs and dentists, as well as lawyers, accountants and actuaries from Magic Circle and US law firms, the Big Four firms, and various blue chip companies.
